Who We Are

I’m Alex, the physiotherapist behind Forward Physiotherapy. I’ve spent over a decade helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things they enjoy. Whether that’s training, working, playing sport, or just getting through the day without thinking about their body.

What I really enjoy about this work is helping people connect the dots, understanding what’s going on, building confidence in how they move, and seeing that shift where things start to feel easier, more natural, and back to normal again.

My approach is centred around that. Taking the time to listen, understand your goals, and give you a clear, structured plan that fits into your life,  so you can stay active, keep progressing, and feel confident in your body without relying on ongoing treatment.

At the end of the day, it’s about helping you feel like yourself again, moving freely, staying active, and getting back to the things that matter most to you.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me attempting a very average round of golf or out for a run with my dog, Brian.
